About Me

Dr. Brett Berner

Dr. Brett Berner is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida. While in school he did an extensive study in a new specific chiropractic technique called Structural Correction. He currently practices as a Structural Chiropractor at Spinal Correction Centers in beautiful Dunedin, FL.

As a Structural Chiropractor, Dr. Berner uses specific structural corrective care for those individuals looking for a non-traditional approach to correcting spinal issues, related to abnormal shifts in the spine or what he refers to as Structural Shifts.

Traditional chiropractors focus on goals like decreasing muscular spasm, increasing the range of motion, and reducing pain. This is how most chiropractors practice, and he believes most of them are great at what they do. It falls under the umbrella category of symptom relief/ symptom management.

At Spinal Correction Centers, Dr. Berner's primary objective is specific to the correction of Structural Shifts that occur in the spine. His emphasis is focused on correcting the structure of your spine back to normal.

Why is this so important?

The BENEFITS of having your structure corrected include: increased blood flow to the brain, decreasing the stretching force on the spinal cord, optimal shock absorption, restricted nerve damage, normal sensory input, balances muscle tension, intercepts damage to ligaments and prevents early degeneration of the discs and vertebrae. This all leads to a better functioning person that is in proper alignment.

Dr. Berner's Structural Corrective Care is very gentle and there is absolutely no cracking or popping involved. He has patients as young as newborns to the elderly. This type of care is very specific and gives results that not only work but last longer than traditional chiropractic care.
